Private Midwifery Antenatal or Postnatal Appointments

We offer Private Midwife Appointments every Wednesday from 8th April at Cheshire Natural Health Clinic.

As standard NHS services become more crowded and hurried, many women are seeking alternatives for more in-depth advise and support. Every Wednesday from 8th April you will be able to book a private antenatal or postnatal appointment.

Working in partnership with Cheshire Natural Health Clinic, Stretton, Warrington, we are pleased to be able to offer women private midwifery appointments for both antenatal and postnatal care.

Antenatal Services: Our expert (private) midwives are available to offer generous appointment times designed to supplement or replace your NHS care. We can provide maternity care and support that is based on the best available evidence, not constricted by local health service limitations. We offer one-off or more frequent appointment packages in which women can discuss issues specific to their pregnancy, receive second opinions, learn about the range of options available to them and access further support when making difficult or uncommon decisions.

Postnatal Services: We believe that after giving birth women undergo huge physical, emotional and psychological changes. This is where the role of the midwife becomes important, as women and their partners need a lot of support in bridging the gap between being 'free' individuals and being parents, responsible for someone who needs their constant attention. New babies require huge amounts of care and attention and this can be daunting. At Cheshire Natural Health clinic our aim is to provide support for women and partners as they learn to recognise the needs of their baby.

Our experience has been that good postnatal care where you have access to your own personal midwife gives a new mother the reassurance she needs to adjust to life with her new baby. This can greatly improve the success of breastfeeding, speed up the woman's recovery and give her the confidence to care for her new baby. We are happy for you to visit for a one-off session alongside your NHS support or for a package tailored for you.
