Midwifery Packages

We offer a range of affordable care options and our prices start from £1600 (Basic Support in Hospital) to £9260 (Full Package Plus Day & Night).

*Many Private Health Care policies cover private maternity care - check with your provider, and you may find all your maternity costs can be recovered.

An Initial Consultation:

Arrange a no -obligation meeting with one or some of our midwives. You are assured of a warm welcome. Take the opportunity to discuss how we practice, talk about which packages are available to you and of course to ask any questions and to discuss your personal requirements. An initial consultation can be facilitated at your home or a place of your choice at a time that is suitable to you. Appointments can be arranged for evenings or weekends. There is a £50 fee for the consultation but this is deducted from any package you go on to book.

**Full Package (home birth) £4400*:**

This package is designed for those women choosing to birth their baby either in the comfort of their own home. Care is from one dedicated midwife throughout your pregnancy, birth and afterwards (under our model of care there will always be another practitioner present at your birth).

*Full package with a support in hospital birth: £3900.

Included in this package:

• Antenatal visits by your named midwife at your home or the birthing centre
• Preparation for birth classes
• Named midwife on 24 hour call for you from 37 weeks.
• Named midwife will attend you at home throughout your established labour and birth of your baby
• Postnatal care (as often as necessary) for 6 weeks after your baby has born
• Birthing Pool (should you require one)
• TEN’s machine hire
• Hypnosis for Pregnancy and Birth.
• ‘Examination of Newborn’ check – by an appropriately trained Midwife.
• Specialists in Breastfeeding support; we aim to visit daily in the early days to help women to achieve this.

**Late Booking – Home Birth Package £3920*:**

This package is designed for those women who are accessing our services at a later stage in their pregnancy either through choice or circumstance and choose to birth their baby at home. Care is from one dedicated midwife throughout your pregnancy, birth and afterwards (under our model of care there will always be another practitioner present at your birth).

*Late Booking with support in hospital birth: £3420.

Included in this package:

• Antenatal care from 30 weeks is tailored to individual needs but will definitely include a minimum of three antenatal visits by your named midwife
• Named midwife on 24 hour call for you from 37 weeks
• Your midwife will attend you at home throughout your established labour and for the birth of your baby
• TEN’s machine hire
• Postnatal care (as often as necessary) for 6 weeks after your baby has born
• ‘Examination of Newborn’ check – by an appropriately trained Midwife.
• Specialists in Breastfeeding support; we aim to visit daily in the early days to help women to achieve this.

Support in Hospital Package £1600:

This package is suitable for women who are accessing NHS antenatal care but who feel they would benefit from having the support of a fully qualified midwife as their advocate and birth support in hospital.

Package includes:

• Care from one dedicated midwife and includes a minimum of two antenatal visits. These visits are designed to get to know you, your wishes and plans for the birth. You will be given full support in formulating an appropriate and realistic birth plan that best suits your needs.
• Named midwife will be with you for the duration of your established labour and the birth
• Two postnatal visits; we offer debrief, advice and guidance that help ease you through the early days as a new family.

Antenatal Package £1400:

This package is suitable for women who wish to receive enhanced antenatal care from a known fully qualified Midwife only.

Package includes:

Midwifery care from dedicated, known midwives from date of booking throughout your pregnancy
Unlimited, on-call, access 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to your lead midwife
Tailor made care to supporting your birth choices
Birth Preparation, individual or group sessions
Create a birth plan for your individual needs and wishes and advice on how to work with your midwives
All safety aspects adhered to and maintained to the highest national standards – we are registered with the CQC and adhere to the same regulations as all NHS hospitals
All antenatal appointments are arranged to suit your individual needs. Your appointments can be at your home or at a convenient location, at anytime including evenings and weekends
All routine ultrasound scans and blood tests arranged via the NHS system. If you prefer, private scans and testing can be arranged at an additional cost
Referral to respected Consultant Obstetricians should this be required
Access to many respected complementary therapists including hypnosis for childbirth, homeopathy. reflexology and moxibustion for breech babies

Postnatal Package £ 1400:

Postnatal care will be given by a named midwife. All advice and support will be tailored to your individual needs and requirements. This will include some or all of the following:

• Intensive postnatal care in the first week of your new baby's life

Postnatal care until your baby is six weeks old
Building confidence with newborn behavior
• Support and guidance with every aspect of infant feeding
• Support and tips on recovering from the birth
• Coping as a new family
• Introduction to complementary therapies
• Returning to work

Combined Package £2600 (for antenatal and postnatal care as described)

Specialist Breastfeeding Advice and Postnatal Support Package £1500:

Attendance at your baby’s birth (if you wish)
Midwifery care from your dedicated, known midwives from date of your baby’s birth
Specialist and individualised breastfeeding support
Individualised advice to aid better postnatal recovery
All postnatal appointments at your home or a convenient location
Unlimited, on-call, access 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to your lead midwife
Intensive postnatal care in the first week of your new baby’s life
Advice and support during your journey into parenthood
Postnatal care until your baby is six weeks old

**Full Package with Private Health Insurance, *choose the package of care you wish to book and there will be an additional charge of £500, to cover all administration costs**.

Our office staff will book our Full Midwifery package on your behalf in partnership with your insurance company. Taking care of all the administration and necessary communication. Ensuring every detail is dealt with in a professional manner every step of the way.

Full Package Plus: Day £6020 (Homebirth); £5020 (Hospital Support Birth)

This includes our Full Midwifery Package PLUS our Maternity Support Therapist coming to your home 3 times per week for 6 weeks.

Each visit lasts for 4 hours; our Maternity Support Therapists can be involved in a variety of tasks to assist you and your family at this special time. Your Maternity Support Therapist will carry out a number of duties such as emotional, practical and moral support; support with infant feeding; support with older children; shopping; cooking; light housework; answering calls and other tasks as required and agreed.

Full Package Plus: Night - £7650 (Homebirth – 12hr shifts) / £6560 (Homebirth - 8hr shifts)

£7140 (Hospital – 12hr shifts) / £6060 (Hospital Birth – 8hr shifts)

This includes our Complete Package PLUS our Maternity Support Therapist in attendance 2 night shifts per week for 6 weeks.

These shifts will last for either 8 hours or 12 hours dependent on your requirements.
This is a working shift. This means that your Maternity Support Therapist will be working through the night to attend to your baby and any domestic requirements, as per your individual needs.

Full Package Plus: Day & Night - £9260 (Homebirth – 12hr shifts)/ £8180 (Homebirth – 8hr shifts )

£8760 (Hospital Birth – 12hr shifts) / £7680 (Hospital Birth – 8hr shifts)
